The last thing to do was to sort out our car hire for our arrival in LA and that proved to be a little more challenging than we had expected. It was a little harder because of the sheer number of options there were, plus we had no idea whether the offices were based anywhere near the airport and we didn’t want to be caught out by that and end up having to catch a taxi for miles to get to it. Eventually we went for one that was clearly stated as being located at the airport. The next scary thing was going to be driving in LA.
