If this is your first time trying to grow a herb garden, basil and parsley are a good choice. They can be grown on your windowsill, in a pot outside or in the ground. Water the plants and if you see any insects, buy or make an organic mixture to spray. As Basil grows, you will see it grow tall with a flowering top. That is the best time to cut from it, use fresh or dry and put in a spice jar. Parsley leaves can too be used fresh or dried. This little effort can provide fresh herbs all summer and when dried all year for your cooking. And don’t hesitate to water them with clean water from your Puriclean II water filter.
