My husband hurt his back at work two years ago while pushing a car into his shop during a snowstorm. Workman’s compensation denied his claim as they said he could not prove that is when his back problems started. Ever since then he has suffered from chronic lower back pain. After seeing a chiropractor, he learned that he herniated a disc. We cannot afford for him to have surgery as our insurance is the bare minimum and it won’t cover most of the expenses. Now we are looking for alternative treatments such as acupressure in the hopes this will solve his problem once and for all. His boss has been understanding, but doesn’t pay him for time missed so that doesn’t help much.
