I went to the library today to find a book of quotes. There’s this wonderful saying that I’ve been wracking my brain to remember how it goes. I collect thank you quotes as well as birthday ones to put in people’s birthday or thank you notes. I think it makes things more personal and I get tired of saying the traditional Happy Birthday to people. I found the book and copied it down. Then I decided I wanted the book to keep so I got the title and author and went to Barnes and Noble and had them order it for me. Now, I’ll be prepared in the future.

There are so many ways piano can fit in with other musical instruments. And indeed, one may play in a band or alone and the thrill can seem endless. With piano, one can learn the scales and practice every day and become well accustomed to moving on to experimentation and different styles of tickling the ivory. All in all, learning to play the piano is a rewarding and moving adventure.
