I was able to buy a new car because I got a military auto loan. I had been turned down once by the finance department at a local car dealer. They said that I just did not have enough credit history. I understood what they meant because I am only twenty years old, but I was happy to hear that I could get a loan based on my military service. I did not want a very expensive car but I was tired of relying on friends who had cars to get anything done that required me driving off the military base.
